In northwestern Härjedalen there is a slightly mythical place called Flatruet. It is a low mountain plateau surrounded by larger mountains. During the winter it becomes a flat, white moon-like landscape.
It is rumoured that somewhere below the layers of white you can find mountain lakes containing some of the nicest artic char in existence. The three founders, Anton, Daniel and Sebastian set out to try and find the frozen lakes that lay beneath the snow. They arrived at the plateau at around 6.30am, just as the sun started to rise. It was a beautiful, crisp cold day. With the use of a compass and a map, they lay out the course and started skiing into the haze. They found the lakes, but failed to find any of the fish they have heard so much about. You win some and you lose some.
